Frosty
Silvershoe Sunfrost (Silvershoe Sundust x Miss Frosty Shadow) is a very special mare. The last gray from the almost lost line of Saycrest
Frosty Miss, we are very fortunate to own this wonderful horse. Frosty is incredibly sweet and a fantastic addition to
our Morgan herd. She has already given us five lovely fillies, the first, a gray who we named Willow Bend Shadow
(see Shadow's page for more information on this mare). Annie is her next filly, now a wonderful, super dependable trail horse. While Annie is not gray (she's chestnut) she's definitely cherished here at Willow Bend Morgans. Frosty was given a few years off from broodmare duties to play and then start saddle training.
She is now a fabulous trail mount. Frosty's third filly Tiki, by UVM Lash, found a loving new home while her fourth foal
is another gray! Willow Bend Clair de Lune is by Equinox Beaubrook. (Note the picture below of a very pregnant Frosty,
a few weeks before foaling.) See Luna's page for more information on this Beaubrook daughter. In the spring of 2011, Frosty delivered her fifth foal, another filly by Equinox Beaubrook. Willow Bend Tiger Lilly is a very solid, old-type, half lippitt (there's no doubt looking at this gal that she's a Morgan!). This was Frosty's last foal by Beaubrook as the handsome stud was laid to
rest in the fall of 2010 at the age of 32. Frosty is now on vacation from broodmare duty so we can hit the trails together.
