Rerun
Rerun is the plucky little pony who keeps the big horses in line. Technically not a pony but rather a Miniature
Horse, Rerun would probably be a terror if she were a full-size horse. As it is, we perfer to call her a 'pony
with attitude.' She's not shy and is quite happy bossing the horses around. In fact, she had to be removed
from one of the horse pastures because she was stealing the grain from the horses, pushing them away from their
grain buckets. Unlike many farms where the pony is basically a lawn ornament, at Willow Bend, Rerun is a
working gal. She is a fantastic driving horse and is not for the faint of heart. She has a road trot to
die for, having no problem keeping up with full-size horses at a slow canter. And she's not just for driving
down dirt roads; she can also wow the judges. Having been shown in harness on a limited basis, she has
almost always won her class, whether it is a pleasure or obstacle class and that's again, against the big guys
- she's never gone to a Miniature Horse show.
Amherst Farmers Supply, Amherst, Massachusetts is promoting their Facebook page with a photo of Rerun, the Miniature
Horse and sidekick in the book Robin. Rerun recently did a book signing at the store and was invited in to say hi to all
the customers.
